The long-awaited Driveclub release date may finally have been revealed. A tweet by developer Evolution Studios (subsequently deleted) read, “Mark your calendars 9.4.14.” As Evolution is a British developer, one would assume that this refers to April 9, as opposed to September 4.
Driveclub was originally supposed to be a PS4 launch title before being delayed to “early 2014,” due to difficulties with the game’s social integration features.
The tweet doesn’t exactly confirm a release date, but there’s not a whole lot else it could be referring to. A new trailer is a possibility, but then why delete the message? Hopefully we’ll get an official answer soon.
