E3 2015: Mass Effect Andromeda Will Make You Tame A Distant Galaxy

Do you like Westerns? Because Mass Effect is now a Western and we have the screens to prove it.

EA just showed off  the new Mass Effect Andromeda trailer, set to an old western song. It seems, as the leak predicted, this game is going to be you taking on a new frontier and taming it.

Where can I see the trailer?

Check it out here:

So, this takes place in the Andromeda galaxy?

So it would seem.

Who is this new protagonist?

We don’t know for certain. According to the Bioware blog, you won’t be playing as the character in the trailer, though you will be playing a male or female human depending on your preference.

Is that a new Mako I saw?

Yup! It seems much more fast and agile than the one in the original games.

Will this have big open worlds?

It certainly looks like it. Like Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mass Effect Andromeda is created in Battlefield’s Frostbite engine, so it’s safe to expect that there will be a lot of big worlds to explore.

When does the game take place?

Unfortunately, we still don’t know that. But if it is in a distant galaxy, it can take place any time they’d like without running into the storyline of the original trilogy.

When will the game be out?

Holiday 2016.
