Blizzard has revealed the next cosmetic unlockable for Hearthstone. Players who have spent some serious time playing a certain class may find themselves close to unlocking “Golden Heroes,” the Hero equivalent of a Golden Card.
The catch? You’re going to need a whopping 500 wins in Ranked Play with that particular hero to unlock them. Luckily, Blizzard is adding a feature that will allow you to track your wins-per-hero on the deck select screen of Ranked mode.
“When you hit 500 wins in Ranked Play mode with any given Hero, that particular Hero will become golden permanently,” Blizzard announced.
Golden heroes will be joining the unlockable card backs also recently revealed by Blizzard. Neither effects actually gameplay, unless your opponent is easily intimidated.
