Here’s All The Star Wars Panels That Will Be At San Diego Comic Con

Here it is: our next chance to get morsels of Force Awakens knowledge straight from the source.  Though San Diego Comic Con takes places on July 9-12 at the San Diego Convention Center, there will only be Star Wars panels on July 10th. Thanks to the official Star Wars site, we have a breakdown of the panels, their location, and their times so you know what attend, where, and when.

Again, all of these panels are on July 10th.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Hall H

There actually isn’t a time attached to this one on the official site, but we’re guessing you’ll be camping out all night for this one anyway. It’s confirmed to have Lucasfilm president and producer Kathleen Kennedy, director J.J. Abrams, and writer Lawrence Kasdan, as well as some unannounced special guests. According to the site, we should be getting a “special look” at the film. Hopefully, we’ll see a little footage of Luke Skywalker in action. Please? Pretty please?

A panel of authors will discuss the new children’s book series retelling the story of the original trilogy.

Star Wars Publishing 2015, Part 2: 11AM – 12PM. Room 7AB

More authors will talk about their upcoming Star Wars projects, so they’ll probably announce some Star Wars books here, so if you’re following the new canon closely you’ll probably want to attend to see what’s up next.

Hasbro Star Wars, 12PM – 1PM. Room 7AB

Members of the Hasbro and Lucasfilm teams will discuss upcoming action figures and also “a few surprises,” which is said to include a “special product reveal.” Perhaps that will be the Black Series Force Awakens stormtrooper?

Star Wars Collectibles Update with Lucasfilm’s Anita Castellar, 1PM – 2PM. Room 7AB

eFX, Gentle Giant Studios, Kotobukiya, and Sideshow Collectibles will give exclusive previews of their upcoming products. We imagine we’ll get a look at new Force Awakens materials such as to scale figures.

ILM 40th Anniversary, 2PM – 3PM. Room 7AB

This could be something special. A presentation chronicling the company’s history from their inception to today. They will discuss all their special effects techniques and how they evolved over the years, “From advances in the photo chemical process, optimal compositing, motion control, and models and miniatures — to the company’s pioneering efforts in computer graphics, digital compositing, film scanning and recording, morphing, digital environments, performance capture, character animation and modern digital pipelines. ”

It may not have much information about The Force Awakens, but it should still be quite an experience.

Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition at San Diego Comic Con 2015

It seems like they’ll have some presentations of the game and some hands on time for people who stop by. Based on the early press material, it looks like a ton of fun.
