Battlefield 4‘s Naval Strike DLC pack has been delayed on the Xbox One and PC. EA stated that the studio is, “concerned that the combination of the pack and planned PC updates would increase performance issues on mid-range to high-end PCs.” On the Xbox One side of things, EA wanted, “to address issues in the animation system that hinder players from engaging targets in set circumstances using popular weapon configurations.”

The studio revealed the news in a blog post, adding that the delay will not hit other versions of the game.

Naval Strike is currently available to Battlefield 4 premium members on the PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360. It will be out for regular players on March 25, with EA hoping that the PC and Xbox One versions will be available in early April.

Among a number of weapons, assignments, gadgets, maps and a new vehicle, Naval Strike also addsBattlefield 2142‘s “Titan Mode,” now called “Carrier Mode.” It features two teams competing to infiltrate and destroy the opposing team’s aircraft carrier.
