New Music Weekend: Ryan Adams, Son Volt, Jens Lenkman, and More!!!

Hey there music lover! Like new stuff? Great! You’ve come to the right place. Each week all sorts of audiolicious goodies are unleashed onto the masses and this is where they come to be judged. I’ll tell ya what’s good, what’s bad, and what’s a waste of your time. Thanks for stopping by!

The Big News
Whiney alt-country crooner Ryan Adams returns with his sixteenth probable masterpiece, Prisoner.

One of my idols, Swedish iconoclast songwriter Jens Lenkman returns with his latest, Life Will See You Now.

Guitar god Hanni El Khatib unveils his Savage Times collection.

 Metal Stuffs
Jersey-bred metal warriors Lorna Shore bounce back with their sophomore effort, Flesh Coffin.

My Recommendation
I’m always up for going down with a new Son Volt record. The alt-country masters return for their ninth record, Notes of Blue this week.

BONUS RECOMMENDATION!!
One of my favorite bands ever, Australia’s double bass and guitar masters Sodastream, are back with their first release in eleven years. It comes out in the States soon so we’ll talk more about it later,  but here’s a quick taste of their older stuff.

Next Week
Tune in next week, same new music time, same new music channel, for new stuff from: David Bowie.
