Happy day music maniacs! Like new stuff? Great! You’ve come to the right place. Each week all sorts of audiolicious goodies are unleashed onto the masses and this is where they come to be judged. I’ll tell ya what’s good, what’s bad, and what’s a waste of your time. Thanks for stopping by!

The Big News!
Vacation alert! Yep, I’m out of town again, stuck on top of a mountain somewhere far away from my computer. So this week ya get a quick list of all the good stuff being released. First up, an onslaught of heavy metal chaos: Motorhead’s 22nd release Bad Magic.

Nile unveil their eighth opus, What Should Not Be Unearthed. There is a disclaimer on this video, by the way.

Virginia’s metal masters Pentagram return with Curious Volume.

And indie bands just keep on comin’. Foals’ fourth effort, What Went Down goes down this week.

As does the glorious new Beach House record Depression Cherry.

Yo La Tengo offer up another record of covers and re-tooled versions of their own songs, Stuff Like That There.

The mysterious Destroyer oozes back into the spotlight with Poison Season.

And The Weekend returns with his sophomore effort, Beauty Behind the Madness.

My Recommendation
I’ll try out this new Monk Parker stuff. This is an old song.

Next Week
Tune in next week, same new music time, same new music channel, for new stuff from Against Me! and Iron Maiden!
