RoboCop Director to Helm a New Netflix Series

Netflix has announced their next original series. It will feature Robocop reboot director Jose Padihla and Elysium actor Wagner Moura, the latter of the whom will play the infamous Columbian drug lord Pablo Escobar.

The news comes from Brazilian magazine Folha de Sao Paulo, who reported the casting. The series will be in both English and Spanish, and will be written by Prince of Persia: The Snads of Time‘s Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard. It will be produced by Children of Men‘s Eric Newman.

As of now, the series does not have a title or release date set.
