When I confront a band that claims influences like The Kinks, Small Faces, and Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, my ears get all tingly. UK based quartet Rivertairs do just that and more! According to their press release they create music that blends “vivacious vocals, whimsical guitar parts, punchy bass lines, shimmering keys, vintage beats, and shaking tambourines” into curious little vignettes of musical happenstance.
