Jeremy Renner Sings About Hawkeye’s Hidden Super Powers

While watching the Avengers kick butt on screen, it’s easy to overlook some of the supporting heroes that don’t stand out as much as say Iron Man, Thor or Hulk.

Hawkeye, for example, seems to only have a bow and some arrows. However, compared to Iron Man with tons of weapons in his arsenal, or Captain America with his trusty shield and super strength, Hawkeye is lacking a few special abilities.

In light of this, Jeremy Renner took some time out of his busy promotion schedule to sing about Hawkeye, and several of his hidden talents.

Take a look.

What Powers Does Hawkeye Really Have?

In the comics, Hawkeye doesn’t have superhuman powers like some of the other characters. However, he has trained long and hard to become adept at several disciplines like fencing, acrobats and marksmanship. During his early childhood, he’s actually trained by two villains known as Trickshot and Swordsman.

While he doesn’t have super-strength like Captain America, Hawkeye is still considerably strong. His bow requires 250 pounds of force to fire, which even a supervillain or two has been unable to draw properly.

Later, Captain America trains him in tactics, martial arts, and hand-to-hand combat which help to expand his skillset even more. Hawkeye is essentially the renaissance man of the group.

He gets around just as fast as the other superheroes thanks to his Sky-Cycle. It’s more like a sky-born snowmobile instead of a motorcycle, and it’s equipped with anti-gravitational technology to keep it flying high.

Whether this stuff will make it into the Marvel movie universe or not, we’ll have to wait to find out.
