CoD: Black Ops becomes a trilogy in less than two months now, taking the story another 40 years into the future (remember when this series was about the Cold War?).
We’re not entirely sure yet how this new entry connects to the two previous ones, with the lengthy time jump and all, but given the fact that Treyarch has released an official timeline for the events so far, we’re guessing there are at least a few big links.
Of particular note, aside from being a great recap of major events from World at War through the near-future stuff, is the fact that this video seems to officially canonize one of the endings to Black Ops 2. Take that as you will.
Black Ops 3 is out on November 6.
