Kansas City’s favorite mother-son folksy duo Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear, the band that produced “Silent Movies” which was your favorite song of 2015 and a NMW top ten song of the year, have unveiled a deeply soulful new single, “Childhood Goodbye”. It might not be your new favorite song, but have a few drinks and give it a listen and you’ll be singing along and possibly crying in no time. I assume there’s a new record coming through soon and if this is any indication of what it contains it’ll be great stuff.
