Terminator is set to get a reboot/sequel(?) in 2015 titled Genesis, and after the third and fourth films, most fans aren’t getting their hopes up. According to Arnold Schwarzenegger though, who will return to the series in the flesh for this installment, the script is pretty fantastic.
“The movie preparation is going well. The script is fantastic so I’m really looking forward to this film,” Schwarzenegger said in an interview with TheArnoldFans.com at the Arnold Sports Festival in Ohio. “I’m really looking forward to that because as you know, the last time when they did the Terminator, it was when I was Governor and so I couldn’t be in that movie but now I’m back again and they are very excited about having me in the film.”
The actor added that he would take part in a four-month-long shoot that will begin in April. Much of the photography will take place in New Orleans.
Terminator: Genesis will also star Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. It will be directed by Alan Taylor and will hit theaters on July 4, 2015.
