Hot on the heels of the reveal of Assassin’s Creed Unity, a new report suggests that Assassin’s Creed Comet could be a Black Flag sequel starring a Templar.
GameBlog reports that Comet will center around a character named Shay, a Templar sailor, and will take place in North America. Gameplay will include nautical exploration, one of Black Flag‘s more popular features, with the storyline being a direct sequel to the previous game. Kotaku later confirmed the news with their own anonymous sources.
Kotaku’s sources added that Comet would be set in 1758 New York, with Black Flag‘s AdewalĂ©,Assassin’s Creed III‘s Haytham Kenway, and other series characters making appearances.
According to previous rumors, Comet will be released on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Unity meanwhile, which was confirmed earlier this week, will take place during the French Revolution and will be released on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
