The cat’s out of the bag now. After a brief leak earlier this morning, Ubisoft has officially released the first trailer for this year’s other Assassin’s Creed game. It’s called Rogue (previously codenamed Comet), and will arrive this fall on last-gen platforms.
Rogue will join the previously announced Unity for Ubisoft’s first attempt at two Assassin’s Creed console releases in the same year.
As previously rumored, Rogue will feature a Templar protagonist, and will take place in, “new locations across North America… including the frozen North Atlantic, the Appalachian River Valley and New York.”
The Templar character is named Shay Patrick Cormac, a character who will, “suffer the brotherhood’s betrayal and transform into an Assassin hunter.”
The game will be available on November 11 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Unity meanwhile will launch on October 28 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
