The biggest tournament in esports returns to Seattle later this year, and if you want to attend in person, you better mark your calendar because tickets will be available soon.
When will tickets be sold?
The first batch of tickets for The International will go on sale on Friday, March 27 at 10:00 AM PDT.
A second batch will follow on 10:00 PM PDT.
How much are they?
All tickets are general admission and cost $99. This will include access to all six days of the main event, which is pretty damn good deal in my opinion.
What about VIP tickets?
Valve will not be directly selling VIP tickets this year, but some kind of VIP experience will be available. Valve has promised to reveal more details soon.
Who’s playing?
We don’t know the exact teams yet, as qualifier events have yet to begin. We do know that the tournament will feature the top 16 Dota 2 in the world (a mix of invited teams and qualifier winners), all competing for the grand prize of a crapton of money and the Aegis of Champions.
When and where is it taking place?
You’ll be able to catch all of the esports action on August 3 through August 8 at the KeyArena in Seattle.
