After six long years of blood, sweat and tears, Mega Man: Revenge of the Fallen, a fan made game starring the infamous robot hero, is finally a reality.
In Mega Man: Revenge of the Fallen, the titular hero has to battle his way through an ancient robot museum after discovering that someone has been stealing long-since-defeated Robot Masters and resurrecting them to do battle.
The game features 20 levels as well as a secret stage that all have branching and alternate storyline paths to uncover, several upgrades for Rush (Coil, Marine, and Jet, specifically) as well as upgrades to Mega Man’s health meter and other stats.
In classic Mega Man fashion, there are three bounty hunter boss characters that will drop in on you throughout the 10 regular Robot Master stages. Players can choose to fight and defeat them there, or bypass the battles and fight the bounty hunters later, though electing to battle them later makes them much harder to defeat.
Aside from that, Revenge of the Fallen plays and looks just like the classic Mega Man games that it is based on, which should please fans of the original series.
The game also doesn’t take itself too seriously and looks to be the end result of countless hours of love, dedication and admiration for the original series. Interested players can download Mega Man: Revenge of the Fallen via RPGMaker.net.
