There’s a new trailer for FFXV out, set 15 years prior to the start of the game.
In addition to showing off more of the strange setting (armored knights, 1950s cars, modern assault rifles!), and a cute dog, the preview also sets up some of the background lore. Most notably, it features Prince Noctis, the protagonist of the game, as a child; alongside his father King Regis. Plus, lots of rain and lots of hugging.
We still don’t have a release date though, fingers crossed that gets passed our way soon.
