When it was first announced that Jared Leto would be playing The Joker in David Ayer’s adaptation of Suicide Squad many of us wondered what his version of the infamous villian would look like.
Leto just released an image of himself all dolled up, so we have a much better idea now.
Where Did This Photo Come From?
Leto posted the image via his Snapchat account on Thursday (April 16). Resourceful fans were smart enough to capture the image and share it, which is how it’s being passed around the internet. Gotta’ love those fans.
It’s obvious that Leto’s version of the character is a far cry from what the late Heath Ledger portrayed. In the pic, you can see Leto is wearing red lipstick and sporting the iconic green hair. It also looks like his hair is short.
No comment on the duck face.
It’s way too early to tell if this is the final version of The Joker that will make it into the film. It is possible some elements may change, or even that special effects may be applied. Who knows?
