Stop the presses! With about a month to go until the launch of Mortal Kombat X, and in honor of today being Friday the 13th, the word is out that slasher film legend Jason Voorhees will be joining the fracas as part of the Kombat Pack DLC.
Get outta town! “The” Jason Voorhees?
The one and only! Jason will be included in the special edition of Mortal Kombat X and will also be available in the Kombat Pack DLC for $29.99.
Are there any other special characters coming in this DLC?
So far, fallen Elder God Shinnok and series veteran Kenshi are both confirmed to be joining Jason in the Kombat Pack and at least one other guest fighter is expected to be announced. The heavy favorite through the rumor mill appears to be Spawn.
What else do we need to know about the Kombat Pack?
When Mortal Kombat X launches on April 14th, fans who purchase the Kombat Pack will receive the “Samurai Skins” pack as well. Included in the Samurai Skins pack will be Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana, as well as a companion skin pack for each playable character.
Kombat Pack owners will also be given access to future DLC content before it’s available for individual purchase.
