After winning an Oscar for her performance in 12 Years a Slave, Lupita Nyong’o is reportedly setting her sights on a slightly more… interstellar role.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Nyong’o is currently in negotiations for a part in Star Wars: Episode VII, meeting with JJ Abrams a few weeks ago. Latino Review adds that she’ll be up for a “major female role” that isn’t directly tied to the family lines in the original six films, and may be a Sith.
