Kicking off August 14th at the Anaheim Convention Center, Disney’s D23 Expo is sure to have a lot of juicy info on upcoming Disney projects… but the thing everyone is really going to be there to see is new Marvel and Star Wars footage. Luckily, it seems like Disney is more than willing to oblige.
Who will be there?
Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger will be hosting the event, though we are assured some “very special guests.”
What are we getting?
According to the Disney press release, we’re going to get a sneak peak on the following films: Zootopia, Finding Dory, Alice Through the Looking Glass, The Jungle Book, and “films from Marvel and Lucasfilm.”
Anything else?
One interesting note is that Bob Chapeck, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts will host a behind-the-scenes peak at upcoming Disney park experiences. Could we be seeing upcoming attractions based on Marvel and Star Wars? We don’t know for sure, but it’s a good bet.
Is there a way I can attend D23?
You can. If you have a child, you can even take them as well for a reduced price. You can check out pricing for adults and children on the official site.
