For those of you a little saddened by the lack of Mel Gibson as the titular road warrior Max Rockatansky, Warner Bros. has heard you. No, it doesn’t look like he’ll be in the film, but they have released an excellent new trailer that pays homage to the original Gibson Mad Max trilogy while giving us new footage of Mad Max: Fury Road.
Word on the street is the movie is, essentially, an extended two hour chase scene that takes place between Mad Max and The Road Warrior. You’ll be able to see it for yourself May 15th.
