Hey there music lover! You like new stuff? Great! You’ve stumbled into the perfect corner of the internet. Each week all sorts of audiolicious goodies are unleashed onto the masses and this is where they come to be judged. I’ll tell ya what’s good, what’s bad, and what’s a waste of your precious time. So strap on your headphones and let’s take a ride!
The Big News
Everybody Looking, the new release from rapper Gucci Mane, is his first proper release since 2011. He’d been in prison, see, and though several mix tapes and whatnot emerged while he was down, he hasn’t release a full album in years. So Mr Mane invited a few friends to help him celebrate. Namely, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, and Drake, all of whom contribute to this record.
New Crown the Empire, Retrograde.
And New Jack Swinger Keith Sweat returns with his eleventh release, and first since 2011, Dress to Impress.
This is the part where we say goodbye to those who’ve hit their last high note. Rock on and rest in peace, brothers and sisters.
Founder of Suicide and one of my favorite artists Alan Vega.
Erik Peterson of Mischief Brew. This really, really sucks.
Guitarist Roland Prince.
Steven Young of Colourbox.
The dude from Fountains of Wayne is now the dude in Look Park. This is the debut Look Park record. It’s called Look Park. Imagine that.
Tune in next week, same new music time, same new music channel, for new stuff from: THE DESCENDENTS!!
