Channeling the best of late 90’s alt power pop, Scottish quartet The Phantoms have released a powerful new video for their latest single “Wasting Time”. Preparing for a follow-up to their debut EP This is How it Should Be, the band has toured with artists like Catfish and the Bottlemen and We Were Promised Jetpacks, and isĀ gaining quite a following throughout the UK. A driving, antsy detour that drips with shadowy neurosis and hints at something dark hidden just beneath the surface of Kasabian-esque guitars, “Wasting Time” is definitely worth a minute or two of your time.
From the press release:
Influenced by Kasabian, Royal Blood, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Arctic Monkeys, their new single ‘Wasting Time’ is a perfect example of the sound that has earned The Phantoms the reputation as one of Scotland’s most exciting prospects.
