10 Great Games You Might’ve Missed in February

6. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Platforms: Wii U

Adopting that lovely painterly art style of Kirby: Canvas Curse (albeit with a significant visual upgrade), the is Nintendo title features platforming action using the Wii U GamePad and Wii Remotes for up to three more players. Additionally, players can use their Kirby, King Dedede, and Meta Knight amiibo figures from Super Smash Bros. to give the in-game characters an extra boost.

7. Game of Thrones: Episode 2 – The Lost Lords

Platforms: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, iOS, Android

It took way too long to finally get a good Game of Thrones video game, but Telltale somehow managed it. The second episode of their episodic narrative arrived in February, and so far, it’s a can’t-miss experience for fans of the books or TV series.

8. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Platforms: Nintendo 3DS

Released alongside the New Nintendo 3DS, the enhanced edition of Monster Hunter 4 isn’t out to reinvent the series, but that should be just fine for the diehard fans of those games. If you happen to pick this one up, don’t forget that Capcom has a free starter pack available in the Nintendo eShop that lets you forge your own Super Mario-themed equipment.

9. Apotheon

Platforms: PS4, PC

An indie action game with an absolutely striking visual style, the game wowed our own Sam Saunders when he reviewed it earlier this month. Apotheon takes its inspirations from Ancient Grek mythology, putting players up against the pantheon of Olympian Gods. The gameplay is solid, but that incredible art makes it worth a try whether you’re a fan of platformers or not.

10. Dragon Ball Xenoverse

Platforms: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC

XenoVerse is an absolutely insane action game featuring the Dragonball roster battling it out in 3D, free roaming, fully destructible environments. Players can fight it out on the ground, in the air, and even underwater. Unlike previous Dragonball games, this one also allows you to create your own character, and use them to play through an original story.
