Start speculating on ridiculous titles now. The next Bond movie, codenamed “Bond 24”, will begin shooting in October for a projected November 2015 release.
They could go with: Speculum of Discord, From Papua New Guinea with Crabs, or maybe something more videogamey like Earthstorm or Bulletkill.
No matter what dumb name they come up with, let’s hope they avoid the Curse of Alternatingly Bad Bond movies. Casino Royale: Fantastic. Quantum of Solace: Terrible. Skyfall: Fantastic again.
Sam Mendes is back directing again after Skyfall’s success, though his cinematographer Roger Deakins isn’t on board. Even if you though nothing of Skyfall, Deakins sure did make it pretty to look at. Let’s hope the new guy is up to snuff.
