Episode VII is almost here! But if you’re like me, and you just can’t wait another day to explore those new Star Wars worlds, there are a few ways you can get a peek at them a bit early.
The video game Star Wars Battlefront features a non-canon rendition of the Battle of Jakku.
The novel Lost Stars also features the Battle of Jakku in a big way.
The mobile game Star Wars: Commander has added Takodana, home planet of Maz Kanata’s castle.
The novel Aftermath has a short interlude set on Jakku before the battle there, seemingly debunking those rumors that Jakku is the post-war name of Tatooine.
The mobile game Galaxy of Heroes features a few “generic” Force Awakens characters, such as a First Order Stormtrooper and Resistance Trooper.
The official Star Wars app has a Google Cardboard VR experience called Jakku Spy, featuring BB-8 among other Force Awakens cameos.
The Disneyland/Disney World ride Star Tours: The Adventures Continue now has an entire section dedicated to Jakku.
Finally, there’s a Facebook exclusive “360” video that lets you ride Rey’s speeder past the downed Star Destroyer on Jakku.
