LEGO Ideas, previously known as Cuusoo, is an official LEGO program that allows fans to submit designs for new sets, which are then voted on by the community and potentially approved by the company for an official release. In the past, it’s been the source of that amazing Ghostbusters Ecto-1, the Back to the Future DeLorean, the the Minecraft Micro Worlds sets, and the Mars Curiosity Rover. Now a fan has submitted a design for a monstrous Avengers Helicarrier that measures in at over 7 feet long, using a staggering 22,694 bricks.
The detail on this thing is astounding, even going as far as featuring little Quinjets on the runway. The only downside is the tremendous amount of time it must take to build something like this, especially when your LEGO Hulk minifig is just going to tear it apart anyways.
The set needs 10,000 votes before LEGO officially takes a look at it, so if you’d like to possibly own one somewhere down the line, support the Avengers Helicarrier at at LEGO Ideas.
