Do you feel like you can take on the Empire? Well, it feels like it can take you on to.
At the EA Press Conference, we’ve seen new info on Star Wars Battlefront. Let’s get into it.
Did we see a new hero?
He’s not exactly new, but Return of the Jedi‘s Luke Skywalker was announced as playable and he’s looking mighty bad ass.
How many players will we see?
They mentioned battles “as big as 40 players” but as small as 8 player squad battles that are more like tactical engagements.
Will there be single player missions?
Well, we don’t know about an actual campaign, but there will be missions you can play by yourself.
Are there any other specific gameplay modes shown?
There’s a mode inspired by the Battle of Hoth centering around AT-AT walkers. If you’re playing as the Imperials, you’ll be trying to protect the AT-ATs as they’re heading to the Rebel base. It seems air support will play a big role here, as we can see Tie Fighters and X-Wings soaring overhead. Snowspeeders are also a big deal.
Oh yeah, and you can pilot AT-ATs.
