To honor the passing of comedy icon Harold Ramis, Criterion Games has announced that a free DLC car will be made available to players of Burnout Paradise. The car is fittingly the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters.
“Harold Ramis was a comedy genius,” Criterion tweeted. “He inspired us. To honour this legend, Burnout Paradise Legendary Cars are free today for Xbox 360.” They later added that the DLC would be arriving on the PS3 as well.
The in-game version of the car is called the “Hunter Manhattan Spirit,” and will only be available for free today.
Ramis passed away on February 24 at the age of 69. In addition to his role as Dr. Egon Spengler in Ghostbusters (a film he co-wrote), Ramis also directed comedy classics such as Caddyshack and Groundhog Day.
