The New Nintendo 3DS has been out for about two months now in Japan, which is apparently just enough time to start discovering some secrets in the handheld. Assuming you know the Super Mario theme, you can unlock a cool little Breakout-inspired minigame using the 3DS’s browser.
The Easter Egg was discovered through a Japanese user’s Vine post.
To access it, open the New Nintendo 3DS browser (this doesn’t work on the older model), then tap out the theme song’s first six notes with your stylus.
The list of most visited sites will change to a STAGE SELECT screen, and you’ll be able to play the game using the URL’s as bricks.
