The success of 2011’s Amnesia: The Dark Descent ushered in a fresh wave of horror games, but none quite as unique as the upcoming Among the Sleep. Funded on Kickstarter a little over a year ago, the game puts players in the tiny shoes of a small child who is woken up one night by strange noises. If you’re wondering how that concept is going to be turned into a genuinely terrifying video game, look no further than a brand new trailer for the game.
Development on the game has recently finished, and Krillbite Studio has announced a release date of May 29 on the PC, Mac, and Linux. The game will also be eventually making its way to the PlayStation 4, and will feature support for Sony’s virtual reality headset, Project Morpheus.
