Lando Calrissian is about to show the galaxy his dance moves. Billy Dee Williams has been officially announced as a contestant on the next season of Dancing with the Stars.
Aside from the fact that it’ll be pretty fun to see if the smooth talking Williams has the moves to back it up, it’s worth noting that Dancing with the Stars is an ABC show, which puts it in the same Disney family as the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII. Could Disney be angling for some cross-promotion here?
Season 18 of Dancing with the Stars premieres on Monday, March 17 at 8PM ET. Star Wars: Episode VII will hit theaters December 18, 2015. Billy Dee Williams has not yet been officially cast in that film.
