The Big News
Liberation is the first Christina Aguilera record in six years. Not something I’m especially excited about, but you know, it is what it is. To me? Sounds like every other Christina Aguilera record, so I don’t really need it in my life.
THINGS I NEED IN MY LIFE OTHER THAN THE NEW CHRISTINA AGUILERA RECORD
What I do need in my life is a new Johnny Marr solo record. Call the Comet is his third solo effort and I can’t wait to hear it. But, man, I would love to hear Morrissey sing this song.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, there is a new solo effort from Tindersticks singer Stuart Staples, who is a personal hero of mine.
Other Stuff
Legendary legend Buddy Guy, he of the never-ending blues guitar, unveils The Blues is Alive and Well.
