“Ponyo”
Close encounters of the third kind! Ponyo is a fish who lives in the sea, wishing to see the outside of the world. One day she escapes from her house to see outside of her hometown sea, but she gets caught in the glass jar. A boy named Sosuke helps her out, and they become friends. But the huge wave made by her father takes her back to the sea. One day she uses her magical power and turns herself into a real human so that she can be with Sosuke. Sosuke and Ponyo’s magical mystery tour begins! This is a 21st century version of Pinocchio, The Little Mermaid, and ET. Studio Ghibli presents a magical and heart warming adventure!
