If you’ve got places to be after Avengers: Age of Ultron ends, you’ll be glad to know that there’s no post-credits scene you have to stick around for this time around.
No after-credits scene? Why?
For the first time in what feels like forever, Marvel has chosen not to put a stinger scene at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Director Joss Whedon explained that the movie didn’t quite lend itself to a bonus scene, at least not in the way the original Avengers did with that iconic shawarma bit.

In case you think that’s a bit of Marvel misdirection, hiding some craaazy stinger that’s going to blow your mind, it’s not. The movie’s been out for almost a week outside of the US, and we can say without a doubt that there was no post-credits scene in those territories.
But wait! Don’t rush out the door as soon as the movie ends though, as Age of Ultron does have a mid-credits scene, just not another one after all of the credits are done.
It sucks, but at almost three hours, Age of Ultron has plenty of superhero shenanigans to go around. If you’re still feeling down though, you can always enjoy this “leaked” stinger scene:
