Stealth Inc. 2 – April 7, PC, PS3, Vita; April 10, Xbox One
Originally released on the Nintendo Wii U, Stealth Inc. 2 is a puzzle game where the player assumes the role of a clone escaping from a hostile research facility.
The game features over 60 levels of brain teasing puzzles and the real charm is that, as a clone, death isn’t really an issue. There are no loading screens and pretty much no way to permanently die, so players are encouraged to use their clones’ various impending deaths to learn their way around hazards such as lasers, murderous robots and level bosses.
Omega Quintet – April 24, PS4
Omega Quintet is a hybrid between an idol simulator and a JRPG. Gamers will utilize the power of song and dance to combat an entity known as the “Beep” and save the world.
The game released in October of last year to positive reviews in Japan and will bring its interesting gameplay mechanics and JRPG charm to North American PS4 consoles on April 24.
State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition – April 28, Xbox One
When State of Decay releases its Year One Survival Edition for Xbox One on April 28, the third-person zombie survival-horror game is getting a few extra goodies to go along with it.
The game will feature new vehicles, weapons and characters, as well as overhauled graphics, a new mission type and two new gameplay modes already released on the Xbox 360 version of the game; Breakdown and Lifeline.
Grand Theft Auto V – April 14, PC
Fans have been complaining for years about Rockstar’s seeming hesitance in porting Grand Theft Auto games to PC (perhaps in part because of the horrible performance issues of past ports that have plagued gamers who don’t own high-end gaming rigs).
Still, Rockstar knows what it has with GTA V. The game shattered records that hadn’t even been set yet and PC gamers are going to experience the franchise’s most successful entry to date on April 14.
Mortal Kombat X – April 14, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360
What else can be said about this game that hasn’t been said already? NetherRealm Studios is well aware that this game is more or less pure cash cleverly disguised as a video game and the hype videos have not disappointed.
Brutalities, Quitalities, Jason Voorhees, the Predator, Sonya and Johnny Cage’s daughter; MKX isn’t just the biggest game coming out in April 2015, it’s easily one of the biggest game releases of the entire year.
