This Jurassic World Deleted Scene Is One Big Pile Of Shit

On several levels.

Jurassic World may be the highest grossing movie of the year thus far, but it has proven a very polarizing movie for fans of the series. Some adored the film’s wish fulfillment of the promise of an operational park taken apart by dinosaur mayhem, while others were unhappy with how the film handled its overall story and characters. Whatever side you may come out on, there’s no denying Jurassic World was a monster hit and is now firmly in the public zeitgeist.

Now, love it or hate it, we can all agree that Jurassic World is chock full of moments designed to pull at our heartstrings with nostalgia. From the statue of John Hammond, to the discovery of the original Park’s visitor’s center, to luring out a Tyrannosaurus Rex with a flare… there are moments that are instantly recognizable to fans of the series.

One reference you could say they did not do, was call back to Jeff Goldblum’s reaction to a certain pile of feces.

Except they did.

What do you mean?

In a recently released deleted scene from Jurassic World, Chris Pratt’s Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire are stuck in the jungle. Owen makes the bright idea to rub dino poop on themselves to mask their sent from predators. Hilarity ensues.

You’ve got to be shitting me.

I am not, though we applaud the pun. Watch this and, um, enjoy we guess:

Wow.

Yeah, it’s probably best that this scene didn’t make it into the final cut of the movie. But, congratulations on watching all the way to the end of the clip. Try not to watch the actual movie now without thinking about Bryce Dallas Howard doing… what she does in this scene.

For what it’s worth… we’re sorry.
