When will Scarlet Witch return?
At a Meet the Filmmakers event in London yesterday, Elizabeth Olsen was asked if her character would be returning for Captain America: Civil War.
She replied, “I guess I’m allowed to talk about that now,” and added that she’ll be on set in two weeks in Atlanta to shoot the movie.
It’s weird to think that Scarlet Witch is now technically the first character outside of Tony Stark and Steve Rogers to be confirmed for Civil War, but by all accounts, she’s one of the best parts of Age of Ultron, so I guess it makes sense.
Who else will be appearing in Civil War?
Aside from Scarlet Witch, Black Panther is heavily rumored to be playing a big role in the events. Additionally, we have unconfirmed reports of the Falcon, the Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Hawkeye all returning as well.
Finally, Brock Rumlow from Cap 2 is said to be in it, although that’s arguably just speculation based on the character’s role in the comics.
