What’s that? You’re still not entirely sold on grabbing Mortal Kombat X the instant its blood-soaked carcass hits store shelves and Steam Libraries on April 14th?
Well, I’ve got just the answer for you. As if Mortal Kombat X wasn’t already looking awesome enough with trailers like this, it looks like we’re going to be getting plenty of extra goodies in the form of alternate costumes, both in-game unlock able and DLC.
So, how much alternate gear can we expect?
Executive Producer of MKX, Shaun Himmerick, gave us a bit of a hint via the Twitter machine:
@mk10news @NetherRealm more skins than MK9. Less than injustice.

According to this, we’ll be getting more alternate outfits than any previous MK game, though slightly fewer than we saw for Injustice: Gods Among Us, which had a whopping 40 alternate attires.
So, how much is the DLC going to cost?
Steam is currently advertising the Kombat Pack for $29.99, which may be because the Kombat Pack is also going to include themed character packs.
How about this awesome PC port?
The folks porting MKX over to PC are the same people who are going to be handling the ports for PS3 and Xbox 360, High Voltage Studio. These are the same developers who worked on Injustice: Gods Among Us and Saints Row IV so the PC port should be in good hands.
Is there any other MK awesomeness we should be aware of?
Yes! Tomorrow, NetherRealm Studios is holding a Kombat Kast stream to fully show off Kitana and Reptile for the first time.
Remind me; when is Mortal Kombat X available?
Mortal Kombat X will be available on April 14, for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
