The Prometheus sequel slowly lumbers along, picking up Green Lantern writer Michael Green to do another pass on the screenplay, picking up after an original draft by Transcendence‘s Jack Paglen. Green has previously worked with Ridley Scott developing the new Blade Runner project.
Besides this new development, we have very little information on the Prometheus follow-up. The ending of the original film obviously left a lot of doors open for the eventual sequel, but Fox has not yet commented on the movie’s plot, or even an official title.
As of now, Prometheus 2 does not have a release date. Rumors persist though that it’s the unannounced March 2016 slot in Fox’s schedule.
