The very first PlayStation Experience went down this past weekend, and the two-day event saw a huge number of announcements, reveals, and trailers. Here are 15 of the biggest news items.
1. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Naughty Dog showed off gameplay from the next Uncharted game, including combat mechanics and much bigger environments. They also introduced Troy Baker as Nathan Drake’s brother. The game will be out sometime in 2015.

2. Final Fantasy VII
Don’t get too excited, Final Fantasy VII is coming to the PS4… but not as an HD remake. Instead, it will be a simple port, darn.
3. Street Fighter
Street Fighter V was announced, and it’s being co-developed between Capcom and Sony. Unsurprisingly given Sony’s close involvement, the game will be a PS4/PC exclusive, and will allow cross-platform play between those two versions. Xbox players definitely got the short end of the stick here.
Additionally, Ultra Street Fighter IVis coming to PlayStation 4.
4. New Game from the Director of God of War
God of War director David Jaffe revealed his next project, a third-person multiplayer arena shooter called Drawn to Death. The game is definitely pretty eye-catching given its unique premise: it takes place inside of the notebook of a high school student.
It’s being developed as a partnership between Sony San Diego and Jaffe’s new studio, The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency. It will be a PS4 exclusive.
5. Yakuza 5
Yakuza 5 will finally be available outside of Japan!
Additionally, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza: Dead Souls are now available for on PSN for PS3.
6. Double Fine
Double Fine announced that the classic 1993 adventure game Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle would be getting an HD remake. It will be released on the PS4 and PS Vita first, followed by a PC, Mac, and Linux versions at a later date.
The previously announced Grim Fandango Remastered has an official release date of January 27, 2015.
Broken Age will be headed to the PS4 and PS Vita to coincide with the release of Act 2 in 2015.
The crazy, colorful fighting game Gang Beasts will be released on the PS4 next summer.
7. Wattam
Former Journey and Katamari Damacy devs have teamed up for… whatever this crazy looking thing is.
8. New PS Vita Games
Seven new PlayStation Vita games were announced:
- Suikoden and Suikoden on December 9
- TowerFall Ascension in early 2015
- Octodad: Dadliest Catch in early 2015.
- Super Time Force Ultra will get exclusive characters (including Shuhei Yoshia) in Spring 2015
- The Banner Saga in early 2015.
- Resident Evil Revelations 2 will get a remake by Third Party Production Team in Spring 2015.
9. Killstrain
Sony San Diego is developing a new free-to-play shooter called Kill Strain. You can sign up for the beta at the game’s website.
10. Bloodborne’s Chalice Dungeon
Bloodborne introduced a new feature called “The Chalice Dungeon,” a procedurally generated level with branching paths and bosses. You’ll be able to tackle it in co-op, and From Software president Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed that each of these dungeons will have three layers with “lots of surprises, tricks, and traps.”
11. The Forest
The Forest will be headed to the PlayStation 4 when it is officially released. It is currently available through Steam Early Access on the PC.
12. Persona 5
Persona 5 will be coming to North America in 2015, after it is released in Japan.
13. Fat Princess Adventures
Sony Santa Monica revealed Fat Princess Adventures, a four-player co-op game. It will be a PS4 exclusive.

MLB 15 will hit the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. A trailer and behind-the-scenes video were released:
