One of the best albums released so far comes outta the land down under, Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett’Sometimes I Sit and Think and Sometimes I Just Sit. The record was released in March and I’ve been listening to it regularly ever since. Barnett’s a horse of a different color when it comes to alt-rock s/s’s. Her songs are rambling, barely coherent but bouncy jams that are at once intriguing, hilarious, impossible, terrifying, and, well, sometimes stupid. But in a good way. Do not miss this stuff, highly recommended.
