Edmund McMillen has revealed some new details on the upcoming Binding of Isaac remake, Rebirth. In addition to a new art style and revamped game engine, Rebirth will also feature a two-player co-op mode.
In addition, McMillen revealed to Polygon that the game will feature 150 new items, three new playable characters, new bosses, and brand new endings. In an earlier interview, the game was said to be over double the size of the original.
Development on The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is reportedly nearly finished, and the game is slated to hit the PS4, PS Vita, and PC later this year.
