Terry Gilliam’s next film has been scheduled for a release this year. Amplify and Well Go USA Entertainment have partnered up to bring The Zero Theorem to select theaters and VOD this summer.
The Zero Theorem stars Christoph Waltz as a computer programmer who is asked to complete an impossible task: discover the purpose of existence. The film also features Matt Damon, Tilda Swinton, David Thewlis, Melanie Thierry, and Lucas Hdges.
An eccentric and reclusive computer genius plagued with existential angst works on a mysterious project aimed at discovering the purpose of existence – or the lack thereof -once and for all. However, it is only once he experiences the power of love and desire that he is able to understand his very reason for being.
