I sense a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly teabagged.
The Star Wars Battlefront beta is over, but before the actual game debuts we have a ton of great memories to remind us of the best of times… and the worst of times we recently had in the Galaxy Far, Far Away.
So, we scoured the internet (and that thing called Reddit) to find out favorite moments documented in the newest battles between the Empire and the Rebellion. These are in no particular order, and all have their special charms:
1. That time a guy forgot how the shield works:
That’s rough, buddy.
2. That time Darth Vader blew up a snowspeeder by throwing his lightsaber:
The Force was definitely strong with one of these guys. As for the the other… well… there’s always next time.
3. That time Green Leader took out Darth Vader:
Remember the A-Wing pilot who rammed his ship into the Executor’s bridge in Return of the Jedi? Well, he’s at it again.
4. That Time An AT-AT Pilot Had To Clean Luke Skywalker Off His Foot:
Between the two of them, someone wasn’t watching where they were stepping.
5. That time Luke Skywalker felt the full fury of the Empire:
We honestly have no comment for this one. We’ll let it speak for itself.
6. That time we saw the first case of Grand Theft X-Wing:
Admit it: that’s happened to you. And every time you’ve sworn revenge.
7. That time we saw the MOST EPIC DOGFIGHT EVER:
We can safely say this one ended in a TIE.
… what?
8. That time a stormtrooper became the Star Wars Rambo:
This guy will probably be invited to join Vader’s 501st.We’re calling it now.
9. That time the Rebellion brought a new meaning to the term “Double Kill”:
Man, they really could have used this guy at the real Battle of Hoth.
10. That time we realized AT-ST’s were kind of overpowered:
We have a feeling this won’t be the first time you hear the term “OP-OP.”
11. That time Luke and Vader messed up everyone’s day in Echo Base:
Man. Family squabbles. Amiright?
